Garden help?

I love my garden but I'm struggling with maintaining it due to arthritis in my spine. Although I quite enjoy the wild flowers and 3 foot high grass on the lawn😄it really does need mowing and the borders weeding. However, despite looking in local newspapers and newsagent windows, and looking on-line, I haven't been able to find a gardener. There are several companies that do garden design and landscaping, but they have all said they won't do mowing / weeding.
Does anyone have any ideas where I could look, or have any experience of where to find a gardener?

Whereabouts are you Jules? There maybe someone on the forum who knows someone suitable in your area.

There is a franchise called Green Thumb which do garden maintenance. Not sure if in your part of the country but perhaps something similar. Have you tried putting a notice in newsagents windows?

Or any local horticultural colleges? Their students are often keen to help out.
