My poor Honeysuckle

I think my Honeysuckle has leaf mould 🙄 it's in its in its 2nd year and about to flower (trying) but looking very poor...any hints or tips would be appreciated (1st post new member)

    The first picture shows some grey furriness on the leaves and stems. This looks like mildew. Poor air circulation helps to cause mildew.

    The leaves also look a sickly colour of green. This suggests a mineral deficiency. Maybe magnesium. Is the plant growing in good soil in the earth and not in a pot? It needs a feed.

    The second picture shows a dead stem. Maybe wind damage. Honeysuckle do get quite a few dead or dead-looking branches from time to time. Just cut them off.
    Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.

  • Thanks for responding...will feed, it's also as you say could bel wind damage? As it's on an arbour, it's straight into the ground at the base of the arbour...will get on to feeding this morning 😃
