Acer Fireglow leaf scorch?

Hi, I’m new here and relatively new to gardening, hope you can help!I bought a Japanese Maple “Fireglow” (smaller variation of “Bloodgood” I believe) and planted it in my garden about a month ago. Unfortunately in the last 2 weeks it’s started looking very sad.
We’ve had a ridiculously hot spring and it’s in a sunnier part of the garden, possibly not sheltered enough from wind either. I’ve watered it most days (possibly not enough?) and sprayed it with Grazers G3 yesterday as I’d caught a couple of caterpillars eating leaves on it the other day - no other signs of caterpillar damage though.
Is it just in too sunny a position? If so should I move it now or see how it does and wait ‘til autumn?
Any advice would be appreciated!

I would move it now, although this is obviously not the best time.

I moved mine into a pot and it's doing well since. I'd pot it up into a smallish pot for a couple of years and plant it out when it's bigger. It won't hurt it moving it now if it's only been in a month, the roots won't have done much.
