White flowered shrub id

Can anyone tell me the name of this shrub please? It has been in my garden for years and I cut it to the ground last year and it has shot up. Flowers are out now.

    And number 2 - this has shot up beside the above shrub - I know I should be able to put a name to it just by the leaf but........could it be a Philadelphus?

    They look like Exochorda, the Pearl bush. Could be Macrantha 'The Bride'.

    the second is a cornus, would need to see shape of bush, stems etc to say which
