Plant Identification if you may

Hi all,

hopefully below is a picture or two of a plant I have growing out of the bush and was wondering what it is? Depending on that I was thinking about digging it out and putting it in my back garden instead!

It looks like 2 versions of privet, or variegated privet with a chunk of reversion and centranthus growing up through it/ them.
The centranthus will self seed around the garden happily if you let it, but easily controlled if you don't want it all.
