Why are you turning it off to recharge?  My iPad probably hasn't been turned off in a over a year or so..

Well, “my” ipad isn’t exactly mine.
I must “ask the permission of the bill payer” as the adverts always say and above all always FOLLOW ZE ORDERS OF MEIN MANN.

    INCREDIBLE!

I was signed in to this forum. I did not sign out of this forum.

I left the site for two minutes to check on the Radio Times website’s offerings.

Lo and behold, up pops the old “My privacy is valued” box, blocking my access to the Radio Times website.

I can’t look at the Radio Times website without re-clicking, [email protected]@dy-gain NO THANK YOU on all the Gardeners’ World little tick boxes.

When I return to the GW website I am NOT asked to click on all the boxes though.

I see that I can’t add this remarkable bit of tomfoolery to the Welcome to the New Forum thread, or whichever one it was,  because “this discussion is now closed.” on there.

    This is the limit.

Has anyone else had this experience?

After I filled it in and cancelled all the boxes it hasn’t appeared since, and I never had it popping up covering another site.
Have you set the iPad for no pop ups?

I have an adblocker. Is that the same thing?

Thought I might as well resurrect an old thread,  @NoraGW. This is popping up again for lots of people at the moment. For me, it's the worst it's been, because it's coming up as I move to the next page within a thread, when I go into a thread, when I move to a new thread. Never had it every few seconds before!
