Sweetpeas

Someone as given me some sweet peas. The foliage is very pale green. Help what are they missing.

    Sunshine. They have probably been inside and not got enough. When you plant them out after a few days hardening off, fertilise the soil before planting with a good fertiliser, and water in well.  They will soon pick up.

    Keep them well fed and watered through the season too. They're hungry, thirsty plants. Make sure you don't plant them too close together, whether in pots or in the ground. Good air flow is really beneficial to them   :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    They like quite deep soil too, long roots like to spread out. (According to my late Grandad who worked part time in the gardens at Chatsworth).
