Trees dying

Hi
We have a problem in our South East garden with several trees dying over the last few years and wondered if anyone could give a guide on possible causes and maybe a solution.
Some of the garden is very old with the usual black loamy soil and the rest of it about 10 years, reclaimed from a heavy clay field. The problem is in both parts.
It started with a peach tree about 10 yrs ago, and since we have lost 15ft cherry, an acacia, a large Forsyth shrub, a plum which was fruit laden last year, started to leaf up this year and now has a very wilted withered look to the foliage. On top of that the raspberries look very dodgy with very few leaves.
Apart from that we have very full flower and veg gardens 😀
Thanks in advance

If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
Pansy your link is a subscription jobby so here's the RHS one.
Excavators coming in the morning, and 1\2 an acre of tarmac ordered.
Only joking !
must admit the solutions sound a little daunting whichever the cause.
