Peas and mange tout together.

I have grown peas and mange tout before and had a semi good harvest, i only planted a few plants  due to space  issue.

This year i have extended my vegetable plot and have planted alot more.

I have got my 6 year old involved in sowing seeds and she loves it but i have realised she has mixed up mange tout and and peas in the same seed trays and i have already planted them out.
Will they work together?

Check the seed packets for how tall they grow. They will all look similar at this stage, and are all peas so will grow well together, but if one is taller that will help you decide which is which when picking.
The other thing is pod size and shape. Some podding peas quickly make round pods, some mangetout have quite large flat pods. It depends on variety.
If you can spot differences you could perhaps mark the plants with coloured thread for future reference!

What a great idea with coloured thread.
    Problem solved.
I dont think i should have too much trouble identifying which is which.
Thank you so much for your reply.
