Horse chestnut sapling?

JoeXJoeX Posts: 1,783
Hi all,

Ive got a two or three of these sprung up in places where I cant get flowers going - is it horse chestnut?

Can they be kept small?

Last thing I want is more trees right now.

Cheers

The squirrels buried them conkers in Autumn and they pop up everywhere in spring

I grow them on, along with walnuts and hazels and then donate to a charity called Trees for Bath. They then grow them on till they are saplings and plant them to green up Bath.

Hmm, not sure I have the time to miniaturise then. Bonsai?  Maybe more like bonfire.

I am starting to suspect that my cute pair of squirrels I helped feed through winter are actually shaping up to be my arch enemies.
