Is this a plant or weed?!

These are growing in a very weedy shady border I’m not sure if they’re weeds or should be there?
the centre of the flower isn’t white but I couldn’t get my phone to focus without it making it look white I hope someone can identify them! They’re about a foot to 18” high.

I had that IDd for me a couple of weeks ago. It's red campion. I love it but apparently it can get a bit out of hand so keep an eye on it. It's a wildflower so you decide whether it's a weed or not.

Oh thanks! Looks more like a weed especially where it’s growing so may have to go! When the rain stops ☹️

It’s pretty, but don’t let it seed so when you see the flowers dying off,  snip them carefully off.
you see when the flower heads are ready to explode, they go brown and dry.  One tiny flower will yield thousands of seeds. 

Other than that, you can nip it in the bud, so to speak and take it out now, depends if you want it or not, there will be more😱😀
