Just wondering if anyone in Herts can make a recommendation for bulk bags of compost? I’m growing a lot from seed and getting through bags of the stuff- annoyed with myself for not ordering at beginning of the season, but hey ho!

    I think the bulk bags of compost are not compost that you would get in a garden centre, more like something you’d spread over you garden to boost your soil. 
    If you have tiny plants from seed I think it’s best to buy sterilised from a GC.
    i use 60/70 bags per year, I’d rather buy like that than in bulk.

    That’s unfortunate, I’d much rather buy a bulk bag. Might have a google around see if anyone does bulk purchase of smallest bags/delivery....thanks Lyn.

    There's Thompsons in Crews Hill. Not sure how close that is to you. They are the go to bulk delivery guys for North London and Enfield. I go in with loads of neighbours to share delivery costs. It's not far from Hatfield, if you are on the north side of Herts.
