It's the pretty little purple thing that grows all over my garden and makes me feel guilty about cutting the grass.

I get the purple ones in the grass,  but this is white.....ish and about as tall as a tulip

They look like Garlic Chives, Allium Tuberosum.

Thanks Borderline That's quite possible as there is a lot of wild garlic in next doors garden.  Should I take it out or leave it be?

Where is it growing? Is it in your pots or in your grass. They are hardy, so don't need special treatment. As long as it's in full sun and the soil is reasonably free draining, they will do fine.

It's in the border,  amongst the tulips that are dying down now . I quite like it. ......If it doesn't take over.

I would keep it. If it is that plant, they can go on flowering for a long time all through summer. You can cut the flower-heads down to stop them self seeding. All edible too.

Beware, it will multiply quicker than Spanish bluebells! 😀
if it’s in the grass like PP’s I don’t suppose it matters as you can keep mowing it off.

I think that's a different type of wild garlic. Garlic Chives are a different ball game. I planted mine intentionally and they don't spread - I wish they did. The flower heads are lovely to put in salads.
