Just plain soil

I was just about to purchase some top soil from Wickes and noticed it contains polycarbonate soil improver. So tried another supplier and it has the same. Polycarbonate is plastic right? I dont want soil with small plastic particles in. Does anyone know where I can get plain old soil in bulk? Im wondering if polycarbonate is a good idea for anyone.

    Could you post some links to the products please? Are you sure the bag itself isn't made of polycarbonate?

    I think you might mean polyacrylamide or celulose polymer? Swell gel basically, it's added as a water retentive additive. Plenty of soils are available without it though.
