Bee friendly perennials for pots

johnbaronjohnbaron Posts: 75
Ive got a few more pots to fill and would like some recommendations for perennials that bees love but that will be happy in pots.  (I can over winter them in the greenhouse if necessary)

Thanks in advance.

Lavender & small white Hebe are what I have used this year. The bees appear to enjoy visiting both. Photo shows white hebe & another bee attraction Aubretia Dr Mules

Thanks I'll have a look at some of those, I think we have some ox-eye and Erysimum or something similar we picked up from a bee friendly section of a garden centre last year (I had to check I wasn't taking bees with me it was so popular) so I'm looking for more floral plants like that ideally.

    Thanks

Lupins always work well for me and they're easy to multiply from root cuttings. Cat mint is also really easy and popular with pollinators.

Verbena bonariensis, purple loosestrife, coreopsis, fuchsia, asters, penstemon.. will need potting on after a few years. If you can get big pots, lupins & delphiniums (stops the slugs and snails)
