We replanted this plant from a tub into the bed in the picture last year . All was ok and seem to be growing nicely but now all seems to have faded .It is in the sun for half the day . Please help me to stop it from dying

If this is up to date pic it doesn't look too bad to me 😊 Does it not grow fresh new leaves from the top crown and the lower ones die off and you take off which in time creates the stem?

It looks like a phormium and mine also look like this at the moment as I think they go through a dull moment. I have watered and fed mine. Though I am not sure this was necessary. They do like some water though not a lot.
