Hi, i'm thinking of putting some perennials in a couple of pots on my sunny patio. Would love something long flowering and semi/fully evergreen any ideas please. Thanks..

Erigeron Karvinskianus and Sedums do well in pots for me, and they last for a very long time. Both drought tolerant which is ideal for pots. The Erigerons have been flowering since April and often flower right up to November for me.

We have planted a miniature white flowering hebe in an outdoor container along with aubritia called Dr Mules,- sorry I don't know the name of the Hebe, but the bees love it.

Geranium Azure Rush is not evergreen but it takes kindly to growing in a pot and, underplanted with snow drops, should give you flowers for 7 - 8 months in the year and greenery for a few weeks more.

If you are looking for semi/evergreen, I think you would be better of with small flowering shrubs. A hardy fuchsia shrub, choiysa, bush salvia, repeating shrub rose.
