Dear All
Because of the bad weather couldn't plant my potatoes. Started them in does in bags. They have not got leggy. can I cut down to 2 budding leaves. Will this disrupt the potato growing

I'd just leave them, they'll sort themselves out.
Even floppy leaves produce food.

I remember I was once asked to plant some potatoes for a friend.
They were mostly the size of marbles and had shoots about a foot long.
I humoured my friend and planted them,sometimes I put 2 very small ones in the same hole!
They did grow and when harvested there were loads of lovely large potatoes!!
Never underestimate nature!
