Feeding frequency camellia

Hi
I’m very new to gardening and have my first question. I’ve bought a camellia and put it in a container, how often should I feed it?
I’ve read on internet feed one in spring and in summer, but on the acid feed bottle I bought it says feed weekly.
Can anyone advise?
