    I would leave a bit more space behind.. it will make it easier for mowing, etc.  It will also be a useful place for hiding away spring bulbs in pots as they die back, etc.

    It is at 1 meter from the fence at the moment. What about a water tank under the gravel? Might have to dig deeper.

    I would go for brick as a more sturdy base for the greenhouse. Think winter and wind: I don’t see cinder blocks keeping your greenhouse straight or even worse twisting. I found polycarbonate windows can blow in/out in very windy weather and in heavy snow. For over $2k yours should be better than the one I bought but if not, I found using clear sealant (the stuff used for sealing around baths and showers) kept them in place and for snow spraying the roof windows when snow is forecast with lubricant seemed to help.

    This is the type of cinder block I'm talking about.

    Cool, cinder blocks in the U.K. tend to be crappy thin things made of light concrete, yours looks like a proper block.
    Still concrete but 16x8x7.5

    Update - looking for advice for ground to air heat transfer system.
