Plant identity please

Just moved into a new property. I have a vine like plant growing profusely in the back garden and would like to know what it might be. I thought initially it might have been a Honeysuckle vine but I am not sure. I would like to cut it back but want to identify it if possible first. The long winding stems break easily at a node where two  further stems bud off. There are no obvious flower buds but it may be too early in the year.

This is a typical stem with leaf layout...

Thanks for any help

    Looks like honeysuckle to me.
Tradition is just peer pressure from dead people

I'd say maybe Lonicera Japonica Halliana.
    Devon.

    It looks very happy
  • Hi All
Thank you for the replies. Yes, I suspected as such. I grew several Honeysuckles where I last lived in France, including some wild varieties  from cuttings I collected from plants growing in a hedge. I just caught the scent as I cycled past.  I can't remember them being as vigorous as this one though. And yes Fire, It's pretty happy.:-)  Ought to give a good display.
