Mine's out all the time, one of those long bungee types, as well as the washing I also use the top part of the line to hang my cleaned and disinfected bird feeders on to dry.

Mine is a lovely neat little jobby that I bought with the express purpose that it could be put away easily. Guess what I'm going to say next!

Whats a "bungee type" washing line? Mine stays out, removed when I cut the grass,or having a BBQ   am always very surprised when people I know especially with small gardens don put it away when they have a BBQ

Mine stays out all the time but it's a rotary that folds up and I use a cover on it through the winter

Me too, and anything for kids to play on and the BBQ. I love drying stuff outside always smells so good and it's environmentally friendly and free too!

Mine is fixed on a wall with four lines coming out to an opposite wall with hooks. Then it's retractable. But it's in a courtyard type area.I don't like to see WLines either, but needs must I suppose!

We have two retractable lines from the house to a post near the far fence... they're retracted when not being used as otherwise I'd have been decapitated long ago  :o
