Wall climbing worms
last night after really heavy rain all day, I went out late at night to the garden with my new little gardening mate Ripley before she settled down for the night.
‘I have a bed running along the side of my house which I put in two years ago using sleepers and filled with top soil.
‘I have been putting in worms as and when I find them as there didn’t seem to be many in the top soil.
‘When we went out I noticed, for the first time ever, loads of worms climbing my house wall. I have never seen owt like it before. I all of a sudden thought - what if I have brought in flat worms with a new Passion flower I had planted the week before. But these were normal earth worms.
Anyone seen this before?

The have little bristly hairs and lots of nice gooey slime which both make climbing really easy.
I have found them up in trees.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
