Has anyone’s gladioli come through yet

When do gladioli bulbs start showing?
I’m just curious as I moved mine into a new bed last year after flowering and there is no sign of them yet. Wasn’t sure if there just late to start growing or if they didn’t like me moving them and died.

In lots of areas they'd need to be lifted and overwintered. If you're in a cold, wet part of the country, they may not have survived anyway, but I wouldn't expect them to be appearing yet even if you're in a warmer area.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Mine are also in pots and are showing, but they are in an unheated greenhouse.

    I haven't planted them yet.
  • Put some in a pot a month or so ago, they are poking their noses up, West Midlands.

Ah great to see some life!  Hoping mine show soon, I got some free with a recent plant purchase so will get those in tomorrow. We have had a bad and very long winter so everything is taking longer to show but glad to see some green in the garden!

Yep! The ones in pots are coming up, not the ones in the ground yet though?!
