Evening all Im looking at getting some sort of tall grass, that i can rub my fingers on, when i walk past, and so i can hear it rustle in the wind. Nothing too tall, or invasive. Ideas please...Thanks
Depends on soil type - texture and acidity or otherwise as well as aspect which affects light levels and exposure to frosts and winds which affect hardiness.
Please tell us more about where you are thinking of planting grasses.

Ideally, I would like it as I am walking onto the garden. It's fairly sheltered between shed and fence /patio.sunny spot. Soil is not heavy, but not dry either. I'm in Shropshire,, so not too hot
I think I would be more tempted to plant some lavender, one of the tall French varieties you eould really enjoy running your hand thro them tho they don’t make a noise! or good old Munstead is worth a look
