    Reminds me of my late Campanula medium rosettes (Canterbury Bells) just before they rotted!

    I was given a very similar looking plant.....no idea what to expect.  Hopefully it will be something pretty.  I do like the element of surprise in unknown plants......

    I totally agree, I keep anything that pops up... 
    Fingers crossed it's just as lovely flowering, I like it as it's like a weird symmetrical sphere.
    Well I guess we'll find out soon enough.

    If you remember, please post a photo on here when it flowers and I will too, let's see if it's the same plant?
