After relocating a couple of daffodils that had somehow found their way into the lawn, I thought I'd found another.  On closer inspection, the leaves were more supple than a 'dil, smooth on top and fuzzy below.  I steered the mower round it in case it's something lovely.  But I suspect it's just a species of plantain I haven't met before.

looks like a bulb to me, it's not a plantain. Allium maybe. Have you got any A. christophii? they seed everywhere
