Hi, does anyone know what this weed type thing is? Found clusters of them on my allotment,they have only appeared in the last 2 week. I have looked online but can’t find anything!

I'm afraid those are the fruiting bodies of Horsetail/marestail

Bag and bin them (not in the compostible waste bin) before they produce their spores.
