strawberry growing techniques

in Fruit & veg
Hi all,
I bought some strawberry plants two years ago. First year planted them in a hanging basket and nothing happened, crop wise.
Last year, divided what was left from the previous year and put them in the ground and raised beds. Produced 4-5 strawberries.
So this year what can I do, to get a good crop?

Do you feed them enough?
To get the best out of strawberries, you ideally have to feed them every fortnightly with a high-potash feed (liquid tomato feed is ideal).
Poor pollination may also be a problem - you can try pollinating by hand to raise your yields.
Better still, plant lots of pollinator-friendly plants near to your strawberries.
