Tree pruning.

Hi, I think this is a plum tree not 100% sure. Will it be okay to cut it hard back now?

If you are not entirely sure if it's a plum tree, maybe post a more closer picture of the bark and one of leaves. The picture is taken so far away to know for sure.

If you are sure, the trees can be pruned and shaped anytime now right up to summer, so you have plenty of time. Summer is better for more established trees.

Thanks for taking some close ups. I do think it's a plum tree, but not 100% sure to be really honest. As mentioned, you can prune your tree anytime from now up to mid summer.
