What is this weed? And how do I get rid of it?! HELP PLEASE!

Hi All,

Does anyone know what this plant/weed is please? They are everywhere just now and I don't know what it is or how to treat it. I've been doing a lot of searching online but can't seem to find anything useful so I'm hoping that someone will recognise it from the picture.

    I think you'll need to do some serious digging to remove it - it spreads by seed but also by thick roots - unless you want to try glyphosate...
