Deer me!

Yesterday my neighbour showed me a photo she had just taken of 3 deer standing near my car at the back of our cottages. I have heard Little Owls and Barn Owls calling in the evening and there was a badger in our lane during the week so Spring is definitely "springing" Cuckoo next, I watched one fly across our fields a couple of years ago, I had not realised just how big they are.

    Very cute, but watch out for your tulips 🌷 roses 🌹, and just about everything else.  Nothing they like better than a good munch on horticultural treasures :hushed:

    Lovely, definitely starting to feel that way. We've even had sunshine this morning! The tawny owls are hooting like crazy every night here. Never knew what a little owl call sounded like, but just listened to it on youtube, will have to keep an ear out for that too
