Weed? Wild flower?
Can anyone identify this plant please? I was hoping it was something like a wood anemone but probably not... We have only lived here for a year or so and the beds were completely overgrown last year so not sure whether it needs pulling out or not. It is also coming up in the grass. Any help gratefully received. P.s. ignore the ground elder, we are fighting a losing battle trying to get on top of that!

The small, bright green ones towards the top of first pic are Ground Elder, but perhaps you knew that already? Get them out while you can!
