Totally agree ! That one must be many years old as they're not the quickest growing shrub . I have an old cultivar looking like yours ; Pieris japonica 'Forest Flame' . Your soil there must be neutral to acidic for it to thrive like that ! Take care of it , and I dread to think of the price for a specimen like that in a garden centre !!!
Wow! Paul that is amazing, the next door neighbour has one but is so tiny compared to this one. I haven't done a soil test yet, the house is looking like a building site at the moment but I will do one to see what the soil is. Thank you so much.
