Has this Cactus had too much sun?

 
Does this look dead to anyone? If not, what’s wrong with it?

well it looks it to me, but then I'm not a cacti expert, I'm sure someone will come along who knows a thing or two about them.

I would say that the second cactus does look a bit dead.

I have a very ancient one like your second one. Its always had brown hairs, once you start watering it again, from the bottom only you could see new grow which will be green, and the hairs white.  I’ll take a pic of mine tomorrow.
