    In case others have this problem, when I used my hotmail email address I did not receive the link to click to confirm my signing of the petition. Luckily, I've also got a gmail account and received the link immediately there. Dear me, hotmail, myspace, askjeeves, none of my programs work properly anymore.

    I found that it took a few minutes for my gmail address too. They must be overwhelmed with work.😃

    These organisations maybe know all about it anyway, but it’s perhaps worth people sending the link to their local wildlife trust.
