My iceberg rose looked fine after the first lot of cold weather but has since gone crispy. I gave it a prune in between the cold snaps but am worried I have killed it. There is some new growth.
It sounds as if some of the new growth which was stimulated by the pruning has been affected by the recent harsh weather. While this may set the rose back a bit it's very unlikely to have killed it. If you've not given it some fertiliser and a mulch already this spring you can do this now. It'll rally and be fine.

If you think a branch is dead, scrape the bark underneath with your fingernail,if it's green,it's alive
