Which herbs are slug proof?

Shelley20Shelley20 Posts: 36
I am going to make a Wee mini herb garden. I have planted basil and coriander before and slugs destroyed them! I feel too guilty killing them so just need to plant ones the slugs don’t like so much and keep the tasty ones indoors  :D
Or any tips for keeping slugs away that don’t involve killing or hurting them?

Thyme, rosemary, oregano and lavender have tough leaves that in my experience have never been touched by slugs.
I've had no problems with mint either - but keep that in a container by itself or it'll take over everywhere.
Parsley doesn't seem troubled by slugs and chervil does well here too as does (French) tarragon, dill and fennel
For something a bit more exotic try Lemon Verbena - the leaves are more lemony then lemons! never had slugs on these either
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
