Aloe Vera help

my aloe Vera is looking quite pathetic. It is on a coffee table near to a south facing window. Any idea what I can do to get it looking a bit more sprightly?

It looks a damn sight better than some specimens I've seen !! Keep giving maximum light , but don't water too much yet . Don't want weak and 'stretched' growth .
  • I agree with you Paul,I've seen much worse than this one.
I keep mine in a very light bathroom, and very rarely water it.When I do,it's always from the bottom. I had huge ones in Spain, which needed regular watering, but they got little or no moisture from the air.
I used to cut off the "leaves" that I didn't like!!

Oddly, I find mine doesn't do well with too much light. He's shoved in between the microwave and the wall and loves it. I set him in a bucket of water every three to six months (really!!!!) and there he grows, happy as Larry.
The ones I saw growing wild were on sand with the odd downpour and they grew feet high.
  • So the droopy stems- do I just leave them?
