Please ID this conifer?

Hello
I recently noticed this little conifer growing in my garden and have no idea where it came from since there is nothing similar nearby.

Please could someone identify this for me from the photos?

I'd like to keep it but it's not growing in an ideal spot. So I guess it would be a good time to transplant it at this time of year and whilst it is still quite small.

Looks to me like a yew seedling.

I agree Taxus baccata....common name English yew.

Thanks for your replies, I've just found another smaller Yew growing in another part of the garden, still no idea where they came from

I suspect they may have "passed through" a bird, if "yew" see what I mean (sorry)

Remember yew berries are highly poisonous.

If you can get a big enough lump of earth out with the plant then it might not know it's been transplanted. Keep it well watered after moving it. Yews are toughies, but not invincible.
