Does anyone have any ideas what this very neglected plant is? The pictures show the leaf formation (pretty much evergreen) and the flower spike, such as it is. Some of the colouration is probably down to nutrient deficiency more than anything else.

It's in a pot and forms a thin, woody trunk, with the lower leaves being discarded each year so that it's a small standard. How much this habit is due to neglect I'm unsure.

Thanks Hosta. It's not quite as unhealthy as I thought, looking at pictures of others online. Repotted it this week and have resolved to take more care of it - it's one of those situations where I'd just completely stopped seeing it, poor thing.
