    Thank you for the help Obelixx, I’ll look into starting that as soon as I can, I’m so busy with work so I only have a few hours a week at the moment to do anything in the garden.

    Just a suggestion. Could you  cut a small CD sized hole in the bottom of your fence and "ramp" up to it?
    Not only would this allow frogs to move around, but , IMHO more importantly, hedgehogs.
