Purslane / Miners Lettuce

Hi

I have had some plants cropping all winter (covered in snow again today) but was wondering how long they last into spring and onwards?  Or should I plan to replace them.

They worked really nicely in a container just outside the back door.

Winter purslane or Miners lettuce will probably run to seed in the late spring early summer (just as any lettuce would at the end of it's season). So I would plan to re-sow fresh later in the year, grow summer salad leaves early in the year. True Purslane is a Mediterranean plant & will only grow in Summer here but it will self seed readily & come back.
