Growing trees from hardwood cuttings

Hi all

I'm growing some trees from hardwood cuttings. Are trees in this for vigorous growers? The tree type cuttings were taken from a prunus and dogwood tree

That's good to hear about dogwood... I am using the plastic bottle propogate method after two weeks hopefully they start to show small white flecks (start of rooting) then I'll plant them in some good compost until they grow big enough to be planted outside.

Will it grow too big if its not grafted? I could restrict size by planting in a pot I suppose???
