Pfimulas Auriculas- where to locate them?

Hello,
I am completely new to Auriculas, but wanted to give a try. I am in the mediterranean coast of northern Spain, with hot summer (+30°C) and warm winters, even that this winter has been really cold, we had snow this yeaf which is pretty rare. I have bought some auriculas in France, and they just arrived. I am between puting them in the northwest or in the northeast side of the house:
In the northwerst side there's no sun in winter, and in summer is cool all day but there is sun late afternoon, around 7 pm till night.
In the east side of the house there's only sun in the morning, till 12.30 or 1 pm. Then it's shaded and cool for the rest of the day.
I would really appreciate your help deciding where to locate them. Thanks in advance!
