Heavy snow all night and it's still falling ... more than I've seen in 30 years here in Norfolk
This morning . Even the bit that was clear yesterday has now frozen over.
Very little here in Gloucester at present. My sister in law and her husband are currently on a coach tour in Scotland and initially thought they were going to be snowed in at their hotel near Aberfoyle. She's just called to say that they are heading home after all. Not sure whether she's pleased or disappointed.
We're supposed to be getting heavy snow around her on Thursday and Friday.
A light dusting here
A few flurries at 5pm yesterday but other than that crisp and cold with clear skies so temps have lowered to -7 or -8
There was no snow on the grass yesterday, but I got up to this this morning.
Snowing all night , maybe 5"+ at 6.00am today in E.Lincs.
Currently around -3C , 45mph winds and heavy snow drifting .
Had a day off today , probably tomorrow as well .
Hope everyone is OK !
-6.5C at 8:30 with added wind chill making it feel like -14C. It's very dry.
Snow and sleet expected in the night which will make the local roads great fun - narrow lanes, deep ditches and no gritting or salting for several kms in any direction. We'll do our weekly shop today then and get plenty of veg to keep us going a few days till the road surfaces warm up.
The forecast is for +11C on Saturday. That's more like it.
Not quite Billy Morgan standard, but not bad for Norfolk
