Soft fruit bush suppliers?

just about to order my Red Currant, Black currant, blueberry and kiwi along with asparagus (delivery later in the year).

Currently looking at Pomona Fruits (longer delivery times) and Chris Bowers, along with the usual Marshalls Thompson and Morgans etc.

Anyone had any good or bad experiences with any of them or recommendations for soft fruit bush suppliers?

thanks in advance

I've used Blackmoor for soft fruit plants and as said above they were healthy, well packaged plants and a lower price than another supplier I looked at.

I was disappointed with the quality of the raspberry canes I had from Chris Bowers. They looked poor on arrival and out of 15, only 4 appeared the following year.

I've had excellent bushes from Blackmoor and highly recommend them

PS another vote for Trehane too - lovely blueberry bushes

  • Most of my allotment fruit, trees and soft fruit, are from Pomona, had some for over a year and am happy with them and have just ordered more.

I haven't used the other companies mentioned to compare though.

  • Unfortunately Blackmoors don't have the Red current cordons i need. I'll check out Trehane for blueberry bushes though thanks.
