Fritillaria Imperialis

PrivetPrivet Posts: 93

Hi all

I've just discovered a fritillaria imperialis in the plastic pot it came in, and another, different fritillaria also in a plastic pot. They are both coming up and look very healthy, but I'd like to put them in proper pots. Can I do this now without harming them?

Many thanks

Thank you so much for your reply. I have quite limited space in my garden, so I thought biggish pots could be moved out of the way once the Fritiilaria has finished flowering. They are both in quite smallish pots at the moment, is it advisable to just go up one size as with other plants, or could I go a bit bigger?

    Thanks a lot

Good tips there, especially the one about planting at an angle. Yes, centre of a larger display pot would probably be best. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
