I installed a couple of sparrow terrace nest boxes last winter. Whilst not expecting them to be used in their first year I inspected them today to find that it looks like they have been roosting in them, which is a good sign..

What a lovely idea,I would love any kind of nesting box but have two cats,and although they aren't hunters,I wouldn't want the birds frightened by them. Also of course fledgling s could fall out,not sure if I'd trust them then!
