Hi , could anyone please tell me if there are climbing roses that will be happy in part shade . I would prefer a bright colour and fragrant . Is that too big an ask?

Than you.

Hi Rubee. Dancing Queen is a lovely rose for shade. I'm not sure about scent - I'll have to Google it!

Try looking at the David Austin website, it gives information on roses for different situations.

  • One of my favourite climbing roses for a shady spot is Rosa Vicomtesse Pierre de Fou ........ it's a beautiful strong coppery pink with dark foliage, it repeat flowers and has a gorgeous perfume.
